Default Fairing question

Ok im currently looking to buy fairings for my 03-04 636. Ive been on e-bay for the last month and all i run across is pit-eck. so i figured what the hell why not. then i read a post that said some fairings melt. if so is there a way to prevent this, i read another post where the guy sprayed his fairings with Rhino liner. does this really work, any info given will be greatly appreciated.

I am sure the rhino liner would help but I am also sure that if you low side it any faster then say 30 mph it is going to wear that rhino liner off like it was butter

Plus it would look like hell! [:-]

If your looking for stronger subtance get glass, it is way stonger then plastic and 100 times easier to repair!

I didn't do a lot of searching, but the prices seem reasonable Hyperformanceparts.com I've been thinking of getting another set of plastics, just to keep the factory set clean.

Search 636 bodywork on ebay. I have seen other makes besides Piteck. Check Shark Skinz, Lockhart Phillips USA, Targa etc.
