Exhaust question???
I will be soon purchasing a the Muzzys slip on for my 06 ZX 636 and need to know if fuel remapping is required? Can any one suggest a slip on where no rempping is not necessary! I want to make this job cheat and simple *** possible. Any suggestion???

RE: Exhaust question???
I know of one manufacturer that says you do not have to remap, it is Scorpion Exhausts. However, everyone I have ever talked to recommends remapping/jetting when the exhaust/slipon is changed.
I own a Scorpion, sounds great and comes in Flame Titanium, Stainless Steel, and Carbon Fiber. They sound great, they are really light compared to the stock exhuast and I am happy with it.
Hope that helps.

If you could remap a stock system, I would. But the slip on is not going to be a big difference from stock. Fine tuning on the map proves more beneficial than a slip on in my opinion.

RE: Exhaust question???
I have a Scorpion Carbon Slip-on and it sounds deep toned and looks great. Plus, They have outstanding customer service. If you ever wad your pipe up, just send it back to them and they will replace it with a new one for half price.

RE: Exhaust question???
I did remap just so I'd have the best power. My mapping has changed from when I first loaded it because the bike has 10K miles now so the motor is looser and putting out more power due to less drag/ friction. I will have to try different maps because I feel a slight hessitation in the bottom end then it just picks up like a BAT OUTTA HELL!
