I tend to use my back brake alot....specially if its a fast stop. I guess just a bad habbit i picked up from riding cruisers. Oh and BTW....the new lines look great. Hopefully we can do a GB on them soon.

break lines are a definite must do. way better responce out of the new lines compared to stock.

another shot, it wouldnt let me load both pics at once. next step is to black out the mounting screws on the mirrors and seal up the gaps from the mirrors not sitting completly flush. i had no luck with the foam. probley put some silicone or some black weather caulking in it or something that wont mess up the paint.

That's probably the only complaint I have about the 636. The mirrors suck. I would like to just take them off but I do like being able to see behind me a little without turning all the way around. I'm not saying that it is a substitute for turning around but a quick glance sometimes lets me know what is around me. It all about being a defensive driver. Anyway, they suck. I have to lift my arm to see anything significant. How are those "pig spotters" (I think that's what you called them). They look cool but do they work. If they don't work I think the best look is to take them off completely and cap the hole.

the pig spotters reflection is limited, i wouldnt trust them to make a lane change, nor would i trust the stock mirrors. i got into the habit of not using my mirrors at all so this was just the ticket to look cool and still remain legal. in ca. you need a rear view. if i had my way id cap the holes and run no mirrors.
