Default Euro Signals...

So I have the euro smoked signals. They came with the g18.5 chrome amber bulbs. One burnt out on me. I ordered the replacements from clear alternatives (the same bulb). After installing the bulb my signals blink faster. I know of some people having to install resistors on their wires after install new signals, but am confused to this hapening after swapping the bulb for what appears to be the exact same bulb.... any one else experience this?

I know if you have another bulb out somewhere, your turnsignals will blink really fast. I put an integrated tail in my '06 636 and didn't have to put the new flasher unit on my bike. For some reason, my flashers still work just the same.

It was working fine (blinking normal) prior to the bulb blowing, I put in the Clear alternatives bulb and now it is fast... that is the only bulb in the system, the rest are leds that have been installed for a long while...

You might double check the bulb... it's a dual filament dual contact? Like an 1157 bulb. There are maybe three or four different bulbs all with the same base, but with different voltage ratings, and resistance values. 1157 and a 2057 ( I think is the part #) are the exact same looking bulbs, but the 2057 has a built in resistor and diode so it does not cause damage to the computer in case of electrical surge/ feedback.

Anyway, long story short, double check the part # on the new bulb to the part # on the old bulb...
