A positive ice user... I have not used Engine Ice so I don't know. Do you mix it with Antifreeze? Run it with just water?

I heard switching to a aluminum fan instead of plastic helps cooling.

 

No mixing. Just straight from the bottle. The down side to it is it's a little pricey. About 20 bucks at Cycle Gear for 1/2 gallon. And my bike takes just a hair under a gallon.

Still worth it in my book.

 

How many degrees temp drop did you see? Mine seems to be running the same or hotter.

 

I don't have a temp gauge so I don't know. I have the stock coolant in my '05 ZRX and the fan comes on all the time.
My '01 is the one the fan hardly ever comes on.
