Default Engine Ice or Stock Coolant?

I put in Engine Ice in my bike a few days ago and at first I though it was working good/ running cooler but the last couple of days it's been around the 200'F mark; even up to 223'F. I'm not sure it works any better at all. It's supposed to run up to 50'F cooler! I will check my manual to see if there's a air bleed or if there's some air in the system. If not, then I'm switching back & writing to the manufacturer about this. Have any of you tried anything besides regular coolant?

just water wetter in the sand drag bikes. (banshees) and i guess it works, havent had any over heating issues in the dunes. personally, i think its a false sence of security, especially on a atv, with no gage.

Yeah, I bought 2 bottles of the Engine Ice and my bike took only one. I'll return the other one. Maybe I'll try the Water Wetter but it's starting to cool down here now. Hopefully it'll stay that way instead of 100 plus degree heat.

i got to make some calls. i remember hearing some stuff about the purple stuff. guy lost his motor after putting that in. not saying that the ice was the cause but what a hell of a coincidence you know. ill call him on my way home.

I have not tried the Ice..I do use the water wetter, and it does make a difference. IN triple digit heat, my fan will rarely kick on. It has made a difference in the amount of times the fan will come on. I do not have a numeric temp gauge, so can't tel you exact temps...

ice was what he put into his motor and right after it started to over heat. he said he thought he had a air bubble in the system and purged it and still nothing. then he thought mabey the little white thing under the cap fell into his radiator and caused a blockage but blew out the system and nothing came out. could be a coincidence though, he was talking about building a 4 mill stroker so i dunn o man.

Water wetter for the track bike and regular glycerin base coolant for the street, I have tried Ice and for the cost I am not that impressed. 5 degrees isn't sh%t. JMO.

I've been using Engine Ice in my ZRX for a couple of years now. In the heat of Florida summer, my fan hardly comes on. I have to sit and idle for about 20 minutes for it to come on.
