Dyno results and question.

RE: Dyno results and question.
The break-in procedure is not what is causing your numbers. You are less than 8 hp above a stock 636 to the rear wheel. That is easily attainable with a high flow intake filter, exhaustand the very cold air you tested in.
Do you know what altitude you are at? (above sea level) just for a little research.

That is why I said they "may (or may have not)" something to do.
The dyno run was done in Chatilly, VA. I guess it is not more than 1,000 feet over sea level ... but I don't really know.

Yes, but break-in procedure can affect the power output of the bike. Read www.mototuneusa.com . One Kawasaki race shop got 118 RWHP with the Race ECU out of an 05.

RE: Dyno results and question.
I had my 636 dynod last summer after I installed my IXIL exhaust. I still haven't done my K&N and Powercommander. It pulled 117.3rwhp at 13500rpm. I thought that was pretty impressive, I guess it was. I'm interested to see what it will do with the Powercommander and K&N.

here in the uk when i dynoed and tuned my bike at XBIKES i only got 106whp with a muzzy s/o pcIII and a bmc high flow fliter so yeah your bike is a freak. my bike was the best zx-6r that my friend saw and my a/f is 13 all the way across there is hardly and bumps in my a/f curve. i will post it when i get pics of the dyno graph.

RE: Dyno results and question.
Those are some impressive Dyno HP numbers. Just remember that each dyno is different and will produce different results. Some higher or lower than actual Horsepower. To do an accurate comparison, you would have to put all the bikes on the same dyno under the same atmospheric conditions. Also SAE & STD HP are different and are crank & RWHP. Anything above 110 is pretty impressive with 155 plus RWHP being Incredible. Wait till the ZX666 surfaces here!!
