Dyno results and question.

RE: Dyno results and question.
I can't stand dynos that read out power and speed as opposed to power and rpm. Who cares that I am making 100 hp at 108 mph, what I want to know is what rpm I am making the peak hp at so I can set the shift light just above that and get max power at every shift.
Either way, the pull looks clean and yeah you are running pretty lean. I wouldn't worry about it too much. These new engines can run real lean before burning up. I bet your temps were getting pretty warm too!

That's an awesome dyno run! WOW! Air/Fuel looks good too; not too lean. Did he do it by the computer or manually. Computer tuned I bet. Impressive.

RE: Dyno results and question.
The scale in the lower portion is 1mph:100 rpms. Just real 130 mph as 13,000 RPMs; that is one thing I learned.
The only run that was HP vs Speed was the one that got to over 116 WHP. It was the last one.

I too think you are looking good. If the AF is bugging you, and it's not bad, try doing another run with your stock filter and check the difference, it will probably get you even closer to perfect.
If you do another run try to match the conditions as close as you can.

RE: Dyno results and question.
I did put the stock filter hoppingto lower the A/F ratio a bit. The bike sounds a little less "rough" and I may have lost a little WHP, but not that I could feel the difference between 115 and , say, 110 on the street. I will do a new run mid-spring to see what I get. If the A/F ration went down enough I may put the K&N back in.
I would love to do a new run with the stock filter ... but I really don't want to drive another 1/2 hour (each way) in mid-30 temperatures.
The bike will not see a lot of action in the next couple of weeks, so I am confident that by mid-april (first track day) the ratio will go down a little due to the stock filter and less dry/cold air. The leasson? Stock filter from November 15 to March 15. K&N any other time.

RE: Dyno results and question.
No,I was talking about SERGE's bike but realized he doesn't even have a PC111. Man, I'd like to see that thing with a PC111 & ignition module or a Race ECU. The Race ECU is supposed to add 10 HP!That bike might just be a Freak of Kawasaki Nature!

If you ask my wife she would say I am the Freak ...
Since I'm getting good numbers, let me mention a couple things I've done that may (or may have not) affected the strenght of the engine.
I did a somewhat hard break in. Very easy "load-unload" first 20 miles break in, then a couple speed/loan runs up-hill to about 10,000 RPMs and an oil change after that.
Rode it "spirited" without going over 8,000 RPMs until about 600 (first service). Enjoyed it after that with no restrictions. Did a track day (time at which it saw the redline for the first time)at about 1,500;switched to MOTUL synthetic right before that. Oil changes every 1,500 miles.
