Dyno results and question.
I finally got to Dyno my ZX-6R. It is an 06 with a Yoshi SR-5 (christmas present from my wife) and K&N; 4,600 miles on 91 octane gas. To my surprise it got to 116WHP @ around 13.2krpm on three different pulls -WINPEP7 DynoJet. I think I'm on the high end of the "scale" with just two mods, right?. The guy who did it (Will @ Fast Lane Cycles, VA) said it is one of the strongest636 engines he has tested.
My problem? It isrunning lean. I'll post the dyno results on Monday, but it is running an air/fuel between15 (from 3k to around 6.5K) and14 (from around 7.5K to 13.5k). We had "great" conditions to promote a lean the mix(humidity is 30% and the temperature is around 35) .
My questions: Is this to lean? How much will fairer conditions (regular spring and summers temperatures/humidity) and putting back my stock filter help? Will it bring the mixture at lear 1 point down; to between14 and 13? Also, will I lose the WHP gains on the pipe by gong back to the stock filter?
I know, many questions, but I can't go for a PC now and would not want to hurt the engine by running lean.

Those are the highest horse power numbers I've ever seen posted. Congradulations As far as it being to lean, it sounds like its running perfect with those numbers. But you can always mess around with the map to see what works for you.

If it was really only 35 degrees F than the reason for the lean a/f mix was due to the cold dense air. With the temps that low the air is much more dense and with every gulp of air/fuel that the cylinders take, you get more air. The cold dense air is also the reason for the higher hp numbers, that and Dynojets are not SAE corrected which makes them read a little high.

Sorry for the poor quality, but it won't let me load the color version; "FILE TO LARGE!!!". Also, why does it show that big. In my computer it shows the whole graph .....
Can someone explain what the SAE smoothing (top right) means?
Also, do you think that "fairer" conditions during the spring and summer will bring the mix in sync?
Finally, how much will I loose by putting the stock airfilter in?
