dyno jet ignition module

RE: dyno jet ignition module
Yes. If you have a PC111 then you can use one of these. It advances your timing for more power especially bottom end. My Race ECU did the same thing and when I removed it, I could tell immediately the loss of the low end grunt. I have one that was supposed to be for my bike but it was mismarked.[&o] It's for an 04-06 CBR1000RR and already on ebay. I'll either get the race ECU or the PC111 & Ignition Module when I swap in the 05 motor this winter. The race tuner told me the IM is good for about 4 HP with a 4 degree timing advance and you can also raise your redline by 500 RPM. They cost about $300.

No downsides. More power, same or better gas mileage. I was getting 42 mpg on my 03 and the 05-06's should get more. All depends on how you ride. The harder you accelerate or ride at higher RPM's, the worst your mileage will be.

The PCIII is a race ECU, correct? I just want to make sure we're talking about the same thing. By the way, the race ECU gives you more power per performance mod you add to the bike (e.g. air filter, slip on, full exhaust, etc.). All you have to do is update the fuel delivery map whenever you add something.

RE: dyno jet ignition module
The PC111 isn't a race ECU. The Race ECU can change the fuel Map, ignition timing, injector pulse, and raise the RPM Limit as desired. The PC111 only changes the fuel mapping. With the PC111 If you want to change the Ignition timing, you need the ignition module to piggy back to the PC111 and on the 05-06's the RPM Limit's cannot be raised. On the 03-04's it can only be raised by 500 RPM's with the Dynojet IM.
