RE: Differences between 6R and 6RR
Wow, the bike sounds great looking! Any pics? That is some good info! Does it have the injectors on top of the airbox like the 05-06's?

RE: Differences between 6R and 6RR
not much of a looker now as it's deep in salvage recovery. only pics I have are cell phone shots from the side of the road after the accident. they're in the welcome forum. after the accident a local independant shop took off with most of the good body/lighting parts that we'ren't damaged in the crash for one of their mechanics bikes.
The injectors are in the airbox above each cylinder's opening and then the mains on the throttle bodies.
Thinking realistically now I'm just going to make it mechanically sound and slap on a hot bodies track kit.... double R stuff seems to only be easily found at the dealership and it is spendy. I'd rather blow the real money on my 10. 6RR is off today to get new frame installed. we'll see how it goes from there.

All the 636 bodywork will fit the RR. Ebay has a bunch or you can get a choice of aftermarket fiberglass ones. Pit-Eck, Hotbodies, Attack etc.

RE: Differences between 6R and 6RR
Up to this point I've ended up replacing alot more than I hoped(frame, forks, upper and lower triple clamp, rear subframe) but I'm still into this less than a set of OE fairings for my zx10 and it will be much better suited to my local club track. I still need to replace the front wheel and I'm hoping to get hooked up with a set of race sharkskins.
