RE: Deceleration pop?
well from what i have heard and come to understand if the fuel to air ratio isn't really close to nominal then you will either a. not get the total performance boost from your aftermarket exhaust..pciii or any other intake mod you can perform... it is really only comes to problems when it is overly rich or lean...alittle over either way won't hurt much...but if you like me and had it way to rich (on accident!!!) then there comes the back fires which will hurt engines!!![]
if you don't have a really altered map don't worry about it...but if you are running like high octane fuel... or full exhaust might want to check it out...on the map that is..

Yeah, not sure about that. I'm 40 minutes outside the city that doesn't have much of a smog problem like. Being an enless winter it seems, the air had been super crisp and chilly. It's so barely noticeable.

Cool thanks, as soon as the weather breaks for good I'm gonna run it hardcore and see what's going on. When I change the plugs soon I'll print out the mod and do that while it's apart.

RE: Deceleration pop?
You will most likely have "pops" here and there during decel as it is pretty common with our bikes. I noticed that you have a PCIII installed too as well. If you want less "Popping" then a custom tune is in order. Also when was the last time your plugs were changed? I'm not saying that the change of plugs will stop the popping issue all together, but it has helped in my case where the "popping" wasn't as frequent. Best of luck to you.

RE: Deceleration pop?
Had it out today and it was run like it should be. Didn't hear any pop other than the normal deceleration. Just turned alittle over 6K so plugs are a must 'cause i don't know when the first owner had them changed or if he did. Might just be all in my head getting used to the hearing the new exhaust too. But all ideas are appreciated.
