Default Deceleration pop?

Ok, SoI took the bike (05 636) on it's 2nd test run today. Last month I put on an Akrapovic Evo system, PC3 and K&N filter. Everything was triple checked etc. After 10K or 11k while letting of the throttle to hear the pipe I heard a pop. Now, it wasn't a back fire and wasn't loud but knowing the bike I found it odd. It only popped once while decelerating. I went to the higher rpms, above 9k and would do it again. Barely noticeable and doesn't affect the power.

Now, don't laugh... the pop sounded like if you put your lips together, puffed your cheek and blew. Man, I'm gonna get it for this .....an air pop if you will.

It was 47 degrees so I'm thinking with the air being cold and dense had something to do with it. Anybody heard of this? or is it common with the Akra?

Probably did break the sound barrier...again. Don't think it's the muffler. The exhaust has less than 200 miles on it. We'll see when the weather gets sunny and 70. It's not a big deal I'm just meticulous about me toys.

mine does it when the weather is hot and cold, i think its got something to do with the custom dyno map they made for me

i think it has something to do with the thickness and thin-ness of the air affecting the fuel/air ratio i sometimes get it on my bike from high rpm downshifts like when i am wot and such...if you think ur running to rich tone the map down alittle or if you don't have power commander and don't mind the time check your spark plugs if they are black then it is because of richness...but i think it is really complex stuff like air pressure and density of the air and such...so pretty much things you cannot control...

Kinda leaning that way. Have to put some more miles on it before I change the plugs to see how the new exhaust is running. Then I can get a better idea if I have to lean it out or so via pc3.
