Well guys im thinking about selling my 05 636 and buying a 09...i have a few things done to my bike and its pretty quick (dynoed 117rwhp) but im wanting a newer bike also. i have a few things that i have been debateing on. im not sure about the colors..and im not a huge fan of the new lights...but i love KAWI!!!!! and im pretty comfertable with my 636... topped it out a few time around 180-181(until i almost **** myself lol JK)...and like i sd im very confertable on the 6r also thinking about a 10r....well now i have a few options & down here in TX bikes are on crazy sales right now heres what im thinking about getting.... anyones opinion would be great...and if you have any suggetions on why not to get wither would be awesome also... i dont want to upgrade if im really not and just wasting time and $. but also i have almost 20k on the odometer also what problems im im looking at after 20k

I do like the read ups on the 09 6r. But for street riding, not sure if I would go that route and get rid of your 05 636 even with 20k miles on the clock. I have heard some good reports on the 3rd gen 10r as well. For my purposes, I could not trade in my 06 10r either. No answers, but good luck on your decision.

 

I would stick with the 636...like you said you are comfortable on it...if you are lookin to change for the sake of change go with the 09 6R...I'm a 600 class fan and won't go any bigger until I get the retirement cruiser

 

I have a 2003 zx 6 rr with 4,100 miles and I would not think of getting rid of it. My bike is tricked out with top quality accessories. I have already smoked the other 600's and a couple of 750's in the area. If you are going to move up to a bigger bike that is one thing, but getting a newer model of the same bike I would not do it unless you are having problems with your current one.

 

I think the 2005 ZX6R Ninja 636cc is one of the best bikes anyone can ever own! Keep it, and if you have to, buy the ZX10R as a second bike. Then you can have the comfort and reliability that you are used to, and the psychotic speed and power of the big 1000!! Tell yourself that you NEED 2 of them!! Do it!! Do it!! It's only money! If it makes you happy?! Why not? You deserve it! LMAO!
