Default Couple questions on a 2005 zx6r

hi there. 3 questions.....

1. I just bought a used 2005 zx6r from a non motorcycle dealership. They did not have a owners manual for it. Is there a area on the bike that has a storage area that has the owners manual and perhaps a tool kit or something. My 2002 ninja 500 has a underseat storage area that you just take the seat off with your ignition key. I cant find anywhere on the bike that you would put your insurance card/registration or anything. Is there one???

2. How hard is it to get to the battery? I wanted to take the terminals off for the winter so the battery would not drain.

3. How do you get to the headlight bulbs to change em? I want to get both to go on at lowbeam at the same time but for now I will just get plasmas. Hopefully not too hard.

Thanks for the time answering this......

1.under seat storage if you want to call it that. the key hole is under the tail on the left side

2. battery is easy take off the two side plastics under the seat and then two bolts for the seat and there is the battery. notice the hex size of the seat bolts and go out and buy a screw driver of that size because most of the bolts on the bike are that size. it will make it 1000 times easier in the long run than using a "L" shaped allen.

3. headlights are also easy, remove the ttwo plastic pieces under the handlebars and you can reach in there and take the back covers off and there are the headlights. as for running two at the same time just kick on your brights and ride like that lol, (dont do that it is illeagal) talk to or pm speedracer138 on this forum he makes a dual headlight mod and that is the easiest way to do that.

hope this helps and wellcome to the world of the 636, you will love it!!!!

Only way to get both side headlights to come on (Stock config)are with the HI beams on all the time. P.M. me if you want both LO and HI beams to come on as required.
