Very nice looking. I am only getting about 140 miles per tank. Does this sound about right to anyone else for a 2000 zx-6r?

Mike, I wonder if one of your fuel injectors is leaking or you're having throttle body problems like other guys. Is the bike still under warranty? Might want to get it checked out if it is. There may be a service bulletin or warranty replacement for the TB's.

Yeah it is still under warranty and I am getting ready to take it in for a oil change. So when I do that I will have they check it out also. Thanks for the help. If you are getting 140mpg that is good.

mike, why dont you save some money and change your oil yourself? im sure it has a lot to do with you not noticing it but you turn the throttle quite a bit more to hear the exhaust now. i put my money thats where the problem is, bc mine done the same thing.

I don't change my own oil because I purchased a maintenance plan includes my oil change, Valve jobs and others. I do try to keep it in the higher PRM range now. I take it in tomorrow for the oil change and they are going to look it over. Plus they are going to install my frame sliders. And my Power Commander should be here Friday.

I do commuting on my 06 636. I'd say 90% of the time, the RPM stays under 10k (usually hovering around 8k when running through the gears). My bike being completely stock with about 3600 miles on it, I get about 130 miles before my light comes on.

I have 3600 miles on mine now and I was getting 130 to 140 to a tank before I put on my slip on and air filter. I was wondering if it has anything to do with the exhaust flange that is re0moved when you put the after market exhaust on.
