I'm parting out at 07 zx6r. That was crashed and never claimed at the tow yard my wife's father owns. It has been released by the state police to the tow yard and now I'm parting it out instead of sending it to the scrap yard. The ignition was destroyed and I wasn't able to get the bike to turn on.
my question is does the pcm hold the mileage or does the cluster?

BTW if anyone is interested in any parts PM me.. everything is goo on the bike except the plastics

 

You can check the speedometer and odometer from the cluster memory via fsm pages 16-67. the cluster holds that information even when the battery is disconnected. Not sure if you can read the actual mileage from that damaged cluster, but the cluster holds the information.

 

the cluster is not damaged it actualy in real good shape just need to know what held the info
