Some real good feedback in this thread! You have got to keep your head in all situations when on the bike, just let it go and learn from it. Some people out there are complete idiots and are too busy doing other things than watching where they are going.
Last year I almost got hit by a woman turning left out of a parking lot. The reason she did not hit me was because as I approached, I assumed she was going to not see me and pull out. I was able to get myself out of her path, before she got into mine. She eventually did see me and stopped right where she would have hit me, so I very slowly made my way around her - gave her the one finger salute on the way by!
You have got to look after your own well being when you're on the bike, cause no one else is going to do it for you.
