i have 99 zx600e and i just put a brand new battery in it and like three days latter it left me stranded. i have no clue what is wrong with it, also the blinkers don't work all they do is come on and stay on when i push the button theres no flashing at all.

have you changed the flasher in it ?

 

Something is draining the battery. The flashers probably worked on the new battery. If you know for sure that you have the bike turned off and not in park or something, I do not know your ride. Some people have had issues with their ignition causing some probs.

 

Could be your charging system. Get the battery charged and start the bike to see how much voltage it's putting out. Should be 14 volts. It could bethe alternator or the regulator/ rectifier. Check all your connections to make sure they make good contact. Check you engine & frame grounds too.As far as your turn signals, probably the flasher. It's possible that your ignitions switch is shorted to on and your turnsignals are draining the battery. Disconnect the flasher and see if it still drains.
