Default changing left clip on

05 ZX6r

I am confused... Do i have to remove the triple tree in order to change the left side clip on? Let me know what to do...

or at the very least- the clutch lever. . .

Thanks!

Drop the leg, then remove the clip on.

yes you have to remove the top tree, unless you drop a leg like drag mentioned.

experienced = drop a leg

beginer = take the top tree off so you can see what goes where before you rip it all off.

92150 is bolted into the top of the tree. remove that and the pinch bolt 92153 and your controls should be self explanitory. should take you no longer than 20 minutes to remove the old and replacewith new.

this is where dropping the leg comes in, you drop the leg, loosen the controls (220) move the clip on towards the center of the bike and slide the switches off the clip on.

Right on, the 10r is still at the shop. They still have not degreed the cams yet, head gasket, etc. hmm, thinking that I should have done it, then let them play with dyno'ing. No street riding lately, and great weather.
