Another thing to check is your battery, engine and frame grounds. It's possible that a loose or bad ground could be causing your problem due to vibration at 10K rpm. Also, you may want to try some RXP fuel additive justincase your injectors are dirty.

BTW, that is a fine looking machine you have there.

well, i'm pretty convinced its fuel injectors now. yesterday i put injector cleaner in, went for a ride. for about the first 10 miles it was still not going past 10k, then it cleared up, then i rode the **** out of it...so this pretty much solidifies that injectors are the cause...

So is it running good now? Out RXP in your tank, fill itand ride it. Let me know if it fixes it.
