Is anyone thinking of going to the California Superbike school anywhere anytime soon? I am thinking about Barber Motorsports park in August. I took the school at Laguna Seca back in 84 on the 84 GPZ550. It was awesome and thats what got me racing. I wasn't sure if I was good enough or if I would even like it, but I was HOOKED! That was the old track before they made the infield. I've ridden the new track too and like it better; much more challenging and more leaning. We used to practice there while the school was in classroom session. They don't have any trackdays the week of the MotoGP race or I would have signed up for that. I will probably take my bike to Barber with my buddy and his 04 R1.

Well, I decided to do a track day instead; but for anyone not sure about racing before you go out and buy leathers and safetywire your bike and all the stuff that goes with racing; Take the Superbike school. Everythings provided including excellent instructions and theory by Keith Code.
