as long as your rotors arent warped or grooved, they should be fine.

You do not ride much do you?

As evil mentioned, take some measurments. Next, know your pad material and disk material. Then figure out what you want to do with the combo.

I've been riding for about 2 years now. Mostly on friends bikes though. I got my first motorcycle this January. and have put 5000 miles on it since. So i would say i do a good amount of riding. I've just never had to take care of the maintenece on a bike.

I know a lot about cars and i know sometimes you don't have to replace the rotors when changing brakes on cars. But being a motorcycle i wasn't sure if it was different.

if your rotors are in good shape u should be fine with just replaceing the pads, but wouldnt hurt to change the brake fluid and bleed the brakes whil u are at it
