i know the crome ones look pretty nice..i got my bases at the dealer and they had some of the crome pucks in and they didnt look to bad but i wanted to stick with the black pucks.....as far as swingarm and bar end sliders i am pretty sure they make some...i will look in a min for some sites for you
ah sorry i must of been wrong. for some reason those silver ones in the link you gave me above looked like the same material as the black ones just in silver. i didnt know they were the actual chrome ones.

man you guys sure are helpfull.. im gonna like this site ... reminds me when i started out on this one mustang site when i was 16, didnt know anything much about cars, learned everything from that site... and from that have since done over a handfull of engine swaps, built engines from the bottom up, stripped my car down completely to just the frame, replaced rear ends, trannys, etc etc. ... which has led me to having a 10 sec all motor 97 mustang just cause of learning from one site.

btw if anyones intrested heres some stuff about my car ... www.stylin97.com/gallery ... cant wait to add some stuff about my bike on there soon

oh and for those few questions that werent answered so far... what year stuff is inter-changable? just 05/06 stuff? ... and about setting the sag... should the dealer be doing this for free when i pick up my bike, or do they normally charge? how long does it normally take them to do?

thanks again!

hey stylin, click the chromewhore link in my sig or send sikanimator a pm, he has a set of vortex slider bases that he ordered for me and i ended up not needing them yet so i told him to hook up another member with them. hurry though them things are a p.i.t.a. to find in stock anywhere. the pucks are readily available however.

thanks for the advice on setting my sag... def. didnt know anything about that before now. Is this something that my dealer should do free when i pick my bike up tomorrow or should i expect to pay for it? how long does setting it up usualy take?

They should do it for free if there worth a crap. Do not count on it though. It takes a pair of guys about 10 mins max to do it if they know what they are doing. If you went to a suspension shop like race tech it would probably cost you about 40 bucks. At the track they charge you 20.00.
