RE: Battery died
It sounds like your battery just died.....this happened to me today. What you can do is push start it kinda like you would a stick shift car. Get on the bike and put it into first gear. Now run with the bike as fast as you can (if you have a hill to go down even better). Once you get going (I got my bike up to 7 to 8mph with a little help) pop the clutch and give the bike a little gas. Hopefully after a few tries you can get the bike started. Now just ride your bike around to get your battery recharged.
It took me 20+ tries today before I got my bike running so it can be a pain in the *** to say the least.

RE: Battery died
If you're gonna try and let the bike charge the battery with the it running, you have to take out the headlight & taillight fuse so there isn't a drain on the electrical system. If your lights are on, the extra amps just goes to the headlights instaed of the battery. Also check your battery terminals to make sure they are clean, tight& no corrosion.

RE: Battery died
Before i charged the batery i pushed started the bike it started on the 2nd try,i let it run awhile but didnt ride it the battery didnt charge up no license right now sucks ..........
Now I am not telling you to do this, but a good portion of 2005 and 2006 I rode with no license at all. If you ridewithin the speed limit you don't have anything to worry about. And only a small part of that time I had a learners permit. My advise would be to go get your learners permit its easy and quick and then get a few miles under your belt so you can get your actual license.
