Try Vortex, they have removable pucks, the slider part, and have lots of colors including the billet bling. I would advise to stay with the nylon material for it slides and does its job well. The billet just looks good, when you need them they just grip into the road and snap off.
Here is a link a just grabbed off of yaho http://www.hardracing.com/Vortex/VortexFrameSliders.htm
Most stores sell them so shop around.

I went with Vortex also. The main reason was that I have seen sliders break off when they hit the ground. This would do the bike no good. The Vortex ones also have replaceable pucks which is way cheeper than replacing the compleat slider kit. My bike just slid for a few feet and wore out about 1/2 of the puck. Damage wise to the bike, there are paint scuff marks on the front fairing, rear tail, bent clutch lever, scratched shifter lever, worn bar end slider, worn swing arm slider. Not bad for going down at 70 mph. plus. Now my riding gear is a different story![:'(]
