dude, no offense, its old, its a tank, but anything can be done..

when doing bar tricks, the carbs will bog it out, thats pretty much the only down fall

circles can be rocked on anything, just be safe!

You might want to put a rear brake lever on the handlebars. That way you can do some wild wheelies and still cover your rear brake. And of course, get the frame sliders and a cage.

+1. Find a fuel injected bike for stunts. The carbureted bikes have too many fuel supply/ starvationor floodingproblems for doing stunts; especially 12 o'clock wheelies & stoppies.

i am thinkin about doin the same to my 98, but it's carbed too. i've had her up for awhile and didn't starve her of fuel BUT i wasn't ridin no 1 min wheelies. i've heard that you should get a longer oil pickup or bend the stock one backwards because you DO NOT wanna run it dry of oil. i've heard of and seen older bikes stunted so i don't really think it should be a big deal...especially in the learning stages. i'd get dirtbike handle bars so you can tank wheelie easier (actually get ur legs under the bars)and it's suppose to be easier to wheelie cause ur leaning further back to start with. let us know how it goes and post some pics.
