Ok, In all fairness, I can understand not knowing that jets and a power commander can't coexist on the same bike, but are you sure you were at 1200 rpms and doing 140 mph? If this is so and your bike tops out at 11000 rpms (a guess here) at 11000 rpms you would be doing 1283 mph... 140/1200=X/11000 (and who said algebra was useless...lol) Im not saying you're a liar or anything, but something about that doesn't make much sense. Unless 6th gear is so redicously high that it is just a crusing gear.....not that I really know much about bikes.....just mathmatically it doesn't add up.

Cool finally someone a lil nicer and knows how to help a brotha out. Ok i do know he said jet kit i swear he said PC too but i could be wrong.Like i been saying i just got the bike and dont know what the guy did to it i just go off what he says. And when i looked at my tach goes to 16 and the redline starts at 14 ill take a pic and post.And once again TH0001 see how shon talked to me like a human being.See how Devestator even can hash threw some stuff he knows as well just puts it easier for a person who just might have been misinformed but is trying to figure things out. Anyway ok you can go on to the CBR forum now and quit with the problems buddie.. And as far as challenging you to a fight same applies you dont know me from a bag of rocks but umm you shouldnt wanna play billy bad *** honda guy...[sm=badidea.gif]

Ok, I get it now. Your tach was at 12 doing 140. You need to multiply those numbers by 1000 not 100. You were at 12000 rpms not 1200. Doing 140@12000 rpms seems normal to me. Unfortunatly, since the person you bought this from was either misinformed himself, or fed you a bunch of crap to get some more cash from you, you can't really tell just by looking at it if it's a 600 or 750. (at least I wouldn't be able to) I think I remember you saying that he threw a 1200 in it before swapping down to a 750? I just got a Clymer manual for my 600 and the only motor that could be swapped directly would be from a 500. I really don't think a 750 would fit and a 1200 definetly wouldn't fit. Even if it did, the frame would have to braced all over to keep it from twisting and warping (with the 1200). Unfortunatly, I think you got a worked over 600. There must be some way of identifying the motor from casting numbers or a serial number on the block or something.

do you go to cbrforums.com too? cause someone there has your exact username. but yea the point is you came about it to begin with with kinda an attitude. one thing thats different here than any other forum is people here are nice, corteous, and respectfull. and there is no flamming that goes on here. this is probably the nicest group of people in a forum on the whole net. so just be a little more corteous and not rude. even if someone does lie we dont get rude here and go on flame wars

Yeah MAD KAW im done man. and Devestator thanks for the input yeah i meant to say 12thous. I was probably typin to fast and didnt see my typo. Anyway yeah i guess the guy told me a bunch of **** knowing i wasnt a serious moto head. But hey all i know is the damn thing past inspection and it hasnt quit on me yet. So im gonna take all this info from you guys and see if i cant get this guy to gimme some straight facts. I know something has been done to the damn thing i gotta figure it out so i can get my crap straight so that there will be know need for me being a story tellin fool. Im really diggin this forum yall got your stuff together in here.

what you might want to do is take your bike to a shop and have one of the techs take look at it. and see if they have a dyno to find out what the bike really does. that will answer all your questions......

I'm very happy to see that this issue has resolved itself. Aijai - you should look into what Mad Kaw suggested - take it to a shop and have them take a quick look at it - they'll be able to tell you what you've got. Bonus side to that is if something goes wrong, you'll know where to start looking. Keep her rubber side down!

Cool im already on it. The same guy i took it to that gave me the state inspection i asked him to do a front to back run down on it and let me know if everything on it is cool and whats about to go. I went to this guy in the first place cuz another biker i know recommended him cuz he wasnt to harsh on what was on and not on the bike. But yea gotta appt. thursday and i should know whats up by friday. Thanks again.[sm=hiya.gif]
