Default 636 rear seat redone in carbon material

Well i got the carbon material i wanted to redo my seat today. Well me being me, i wanted to do it myself, so i did. Ofcourse i did it on my rear seat just in case i mess up i can still ride this weekend. lol well i dont want to brag, but it turned out 100% perfect. I picked a blk carbon color so its not a drastic change but it sure looks nice for 1.5 hours of work and $10. ($20 to do both seats) I will be doing my other seat tomorrow, i cant wait. It will be easier that the rear cause it dont have the big drop off in the front like the rear seat did.

I would put something in diy but i dont want people to do it the way i did.

I used ordinary staple gun heat from stove (ok laugh) and contact cement for the strap part of the rear seat, which turned out to be the hardest part errrrrrrrrrrr.

here are some pics

WOW, I gotta have that... That looks totally COOL..

What exactly do you call that material...It can't be the real raw 'Carbon Mesh' material they use to layup/mold CarbonFiber sheets/parts.. That would be some itchy splinters in the ****..

what's the name and where did you get it??.. UFO?

I'll just have to wait and see how 056r's seats come out. I think it would look sweet.
