i think it glows like the 06 10r all white. ill see if i can find a better pic tonight or get one from the kawi dealer here. i know i have seen a better pic online

 

That was my first thought when I seen the 07 cluster.

I would have to agree, before I got my zx-6r all I could think about was how cool the digital tachwas and now after using it for a while I wish it had a bigger needle tach.

 

One question how many of you use your tach that much to want to change it out? I usually just go by the sound. Digital analog what the diff ? And what does it matter if you are not constently using it all the time?

one potential problem i see with this swap is the new ones have gear indicaters so you would have to find a signal wire possiable for that which i believe is not persent on the zx6r

 

They make an after market gear indicator for the 06 zx6r. So it would be possible.

 

no i dont think it would the aftermarket gear indictor runs off of the bikes power chage at any given rate and if it comes stock with one there isa definate possibility that there is an actuall sensor somewhere, but if ther eis a sensor, i dont see how it would be that hard to get a sensor and rig it into a 05 system

 

Most gear positionsensors work off of RPM & speed calculationsfor the indication so if you tap into those wires, it shoul work. I would have to look at a wiring diagram to be certain.
