After becoming a first time bike purchaser 10 days ago I was dissapointed to find a catalytic converter on my bike. Fortunately there is a Yoshi exahuast for me. However, the local service shop guy recommends an aftermarket commander to get the fuel right instead of getting it remapped! Any advice on which is the best?

 

power comander seems to be the most used.

 

i also have read that the power cammander is the way to go.

 

i have a power commander on my 07 and i love it. The throttle response is so much greater.

 

There are other Fuel Controllers out there like the Two Brothers Juice Box, Bazzaz Performance Z-FI, and the Race Kit ECU. The Power Commander is the most popular at the moment but the others offer more tuneability.

 

The Bazzaz unit will have an 02 sensor to make it automatic (Closed Loop) and the Race Kit ECU can adjust timing, fuel, exhaust valeve elimination etc. Do the ECU Jumper Mod on you bike; you'll love it
