Anyone know a company that makes a simple clean undertail kit? I had bought one with a new pipe from Motowerkz. The pipe sounds and looks great, but the undertail was cut about an inch and a half to narrow, and they are terrible with customer service, Ive sent numerous emails and no response. Also my wife had ordered me a plate bracket from them as a christmas gift.....its still not here. So I would suggest to anyoen to not order from them, its to much of a hassle. So anyway, if anyone knows of a good clean kit, please let me know.

 

I don't know how the tail on an 05 zx is but I had an 06 and it looked clean to me. Wonder if the parts are interchangeable? Are you looking for something that comes closer to the exhaust pipe?

 

The 05 originally comes with an undertail exhaust. I now have the motowerkz GP style exhaust that comes out right by the tire next to the under faring, so I need something that will cover up underneath where the opriginal exhaust would be.

Hi. I also own an '05 ZX6R, and I have checked for the Hot Bodies undertail. It's strange. Online they offer undertails up to 2004, and then go to 2006. The 2005 is not mentioned. My guess is that the 2004 would work for you "GreatMedic". Especially since you no longer have the under tail exhaust. I would call Hot Bodies to make sure first. Good luck!
