i'm trying to find out whats involved for a fuel injection swap. i dont want to change the engine but i want to go fuel injected. i'm trying to then go turbo. the bike is a 2000 ninja zx6r. it has an 05 engine in it. anyone know any info on this. is it just the throttle bodies and fuel delivery or do i have to change harnesses too. let me know

You will have to change the harness and all the electrics: ecu & modules. Find an 05-06 harness.

 

yeah ive been studing and i think i got it from here boyz.. check my other post for the build.

 

right. the newer ECUs use Gear position and special cam and crank positioning.

theres efi kits out there that are basic and i think give you a special rotor for their own digital ECU's.

i can go into vivid detail if you wish at a later time

uh.. turblow.. Hmm.. you don't NEED to do efi, it just makes tuning uber easy.. i'm going to convert the 7-R to efi with 10-R throttle bodies, a 9-R cam sensor and probably a 6-R ecu.. lots of machining and welding and all tho.. thers so much more to it that ya might realize!! haha

the keihin CVK's are rated for 22psi
