The Army is requiring an MSF course for all uniformed motorcyclists, whether you ride on post or not.
This has been a military thing for some time. I remember back in 95 I had to do the same thing in the Air Force. Good thing one of the NCO's I worked with was an instructor.

I got my first ticket on my bike last month. I was pissed so I fought it...I did not have a leg to stand on I was definitly guilty but luckily the officer did not show up so the ticket was dismissed. I was so relieved!

"I talked to my friend who is a police office and rides a gsxr-750 as well. His advice was contest the ticket and subpoena the SMD (radar) Calibration records OR if he paced you subpoena his speedometer calibration records." Olympia636 is right you can supena the radar records I have a friend who is CHP and he told me the same thing. Good luck with the ticket.

I guess I am one of the lucky ones...I have never received a ticket and I have been riding for about 12 years...Good luck with that though hopefully the officer will not show up!

I GOT MY first ticket Saturday 11/04/06. I was doing 71 in a 40. The bad thing is when I turned down the side stret to my house he pulled me over. And then the *** Gave me two tickets for speeding 71 in a 40 and 40 in a 25. So I have to get a lawer because they do not issue fines for exceeding the speed limit by 30mph. Did I mention I was on my buddies CBR600RR. Damn Hondas.. How about that little diddy?

Usually the speedo reads higher than the actual speed the bike is going. Is your bike geared stock? Only fix for the speedo is the speedo healer or re-gearing/ changing sprockets.
