Default 1st ride with new sprockets

Just put a sprocket kit on (-1 front/+2 back). Yesterday was the most fun and strongest riding I've done in awhile (ever?). Much more torque in the canyons...I did feelaloss in the top end was in a straight, witha buddy on a GSXR1000 - I hit the top end pretty quick and watched him pull away...oh well. I ride for the twisties, so I can live with that...
By far the biggest gain in performance to my bike of any parts I've put on.

I don't think its to much. it seems like the bike only runs about 1-1.2k rpm higher. the fastest I took it up before the gears was top of 5th the speedo said it was like 150ish. I feel pretty sure the bike can still hit 150. I have no need to go any faster then that. Probly never will go that fast on the street again to scary.

How long did they take to install. I plan on putting them on Sunday but not sure if I want to put them on then ride, or ride then put them on.

I had a friend put them on for me along with a new chain. I would say it took him about an hour to an hour and half.

My speedo was up around 160 (and I was at the limiter), but I know it's wayyyy off now...so maybe 150ish??? Hopefully, I'll get around to installing my speedo-healer this weekend, then I'll know for sure.

I did it for the first time a couple of weeks ago and it took me probably about five hours to do. However if I was to do it again I could probably do it in less than two hours. The hardest part was getting the front sprocket off! I said a lot of bad words during that part of the install.
