09 ZX6R Project
OK started the project today. First off this is the WORST bike I have ever worked on. There's got to be 10 pounds in just screws for the plastics
Build end date 5-1-09 (hopefully)
That should do it. I will try to keep up on the pics through out the build. Here are a few to start.
I have to start her's so I can get mine started!!!LOL

Mods list:
Custom paint (White with a bit a blue flake)
Air brushing labels back on (Baby blue)
Seat re-wrapped ( Baby blue)
Shave turn signals
Integrated tail light (Smoked)
ZX10R mirrors with turn signals
Wheel stripes (Baby blue)
Seat cowl (Baby blue)
Fender eliminator
Akrapovic exhaust (Carbon fiber)
Woodcraft rear sets (Black)
LSL frame sliders (Black)
DB windscreen (Light smoke)
Pazzo levers (Long black on black)
Suspension redone for her weight
K&N air
Lower 1 1/2

Just a couple of questions. I have a 09 as well and was wondering if these things were already available, if so, where have you got them?
1. integrated tail light
2. seat cowl
3. fender eliminator
4. akra exhaust (i want the full system though, not just a slip on)
5. frame sliders
6. K&N Air filter

Not you hoe, we all know your is the slowest color. HA! That's a great build you have going on. Can't wait to see the progression. Don't forget to add brake lines to the list, a race ECU, PC3, some carbon fiber and maybe some light weight rims ( I can spell Marchinese or something like that) J/K, I just want to spend your money. Ive heard that although the tail section on the zx10 looks similar, its actually different than the 09 6s?
If you need blinkers, I've heard that the 08 zx14's have the same blinkers though, in case you want to get some smoked ones.
I've seen the akra exhaust on their website, but no one has them! I've heard that they have currently only been released to sponsored racers and not the general public yet.

wow sounds like you have your hands full with the mod list. i see you weren't able to talk her into the different color ideas. Oh well it's her bike can't wait to see it when it's all done.
