I think batterys run like 75 and up. I'd get a battery tender anyways, its only 25 bucks and it will deffinatly extend the life of any battery.

Went down to Burt's mega mall and picked up a battery for just under 60 bucks was surprised they had it that cheap. Best price I've found so far.

As far as the alignment do I need to get the front end off the ground or can I do it with the wheel on the ground? To keep some pressure on it? Sorry what may seem completely obvious to some I seem to miss out on ...

The tire pressure could be the trick too I bet I think I remember looking at his bike and noticing they looked a little low. Really seemed to fight my inputs a lot. Tire pressure that serious for the twisties huh? I mean I knew it was important but I honestly didn't feel very safe on that thing LOL.
