Anyone have rear hugger on their bike? Please post pics and comments about how you like it and the installation. I ordered a Titanium hugger from Piteck and twice they sent the wrong color. It was Charcoal instead of Titanium. They argued and requested pictures with the hugger next to the bike the second time also. Anyway, I got a refund. Might go CF next time. Just wanted to paint the hugger to add some color to the back end. Easier to paint a lighter color Red.

 

i have been looking at the puig rear hugger for the 05 - 06 636....it comes with a carbon fibre look....i just havent ordered one just yet but from what i have read it requires no drilling or modification to install here is what it looks like on a bike

 

I believe that the Puig is made of real carbon fiber throughout. That's why it's almost $200.

 

no its fake, ive been looking for a real cf hugger for a while

 

oh the puig is fake. Its also crap. mIne is cracked and doesnt really look like a part of a the bike. I have a diy on here some where if you want to see pics. Im already looking for a new hugger.

 

I wish I would've seen your post before I just bought a Puig CF Hugger. At least I got it used and did not pay even half price!

 

Thank for that info guys. They charge a lot for a fake Puig CF hugger. I agree that it looks like it doesn't belong with the bike; doesn't flow with the lines. The Piteck I ordered was fiberglass and it would have looked good had it not been for the problem with the color. It was $95 plus $10 shipping. They say it comes in blue, Green, Tatanium & black. I received 2 of them. They couldn't match the Titanium Silver Color. I sent the first one back and sent them pictures of the color I wanted and they sent me the same Charcoal color that I returned. The quality was good and it was made of fiberglass. I am still trying to get my shipping refunded from them for shipping it back twice and so, I am still looking for a hugger. Might just have to getany color and have it repainted 03 red unless I can get a CF one.

Did you check out hotbodiesracing? Their site says that the hugger for 05-06 is comming soon, but I have seen them listed on other sites. So I dunno if they didnt update their website, or if it's just preorder on the other sites. *shrugs*
