Default 04 636 swingarm ??

hello all, i just purchased an 04 636 about a month ago. it is my first bike. I know sportbikes are not built for comfort but i was wondering if there is a way to adjust the swingarm to cause a more relaxed or less agressive position on the sit. i am average build and height and find myself always jammed up against the tank. the more bikes i look at, it seems that the seat is almost flat or horizontal if you will and mine seems to slant a lot towards the front. any help would be great. thanks. and i have to say i have learned alot already on this website.

its not the actual seat it the angle at which it is, which is due to the angle of the swingarm.

You can get a stomp grip it helps your theighs grip the tank. so you don't slide up. I got an 04 also and that tank is sharp enough to castrate your self if your not carefull. I learned the hard way never wax your gas tank.

On second thought It would probly be easyier to raise the triple clamps you wont be leaning forward on the bike as much if you do. But it will effect the handling by changing the geomtry of the bike.

Trust us, it's the angle of the seat. I have an 03 and shaving the seat solved the problem. If you adjust the swingarm, it will affect the handling. Go to the DIY section; here isthe write-up on how to shave the seat.

I don't think I have slammed the boys in the tank since I did this mod. More comfortable too!
