Hi,

There is a product called "big foot" you can attach to the bottom of your kick stand and it provides good support. Almost like one of those plastic objects you can put under your kickstand. Another benefit is the bike does lean as much when on the stand.

Hope this helps

A stand base is not what is needed RRunner. I have read about this twice now since my last post here. Something like a compression release type of thing where the ride if in gear will surge forward after the ignition kill. Something like in the movie Cars when they were tractor tipping.

Dang, I would have a cow! Sorry to hear Dave. This is the first that I have heard about the "igniting" issue as well.

Hi Mark

No my owners manual says to park the bike in gear, to prevent it from moving, thats why I believe they should fix it..
As per my owner's manual part No, 99987-1350page 88 under the "parking" heading it states:
" Shift the transmission into neutral and turn the ignition key to "off".
"Support the motorcycle on a firm level surface with the side stand."

What does your manual state?

its not diesel fuel. it doesnt ignite under compression and a heated glow plug.

gasoline will not combust at 180psi (the compression in the cylander at top dead center)

Wow. Sorry to hear about that! (I wouldn't hold my breath on the Green team picking up the tab, though.)
