ZX14=Sport touring IMO. It's kinda big to make a good track bike. But many articles I've read have people considering it a sport touring bike because of it's good comfort and ergonomics.
I have been toying around with the idea of selling off the KZ750, and picking up a 14 by next spring if I can find reasonable enough insurance premiums on it. I want something large enough to be comfortable taking a long trip on, and many say this bike is great for that purpose. Insurance costs by far will be the largest factor as to whether or not I get one.

The ZX14 is more of a sport than touring. I own one! Based on the sitting position I don't think is very comfortabel on long tours. It is not the lightest bike either, but when it's moving, it's not bad at all. I own one, but the straight highways in ND are boring for relaxed rides. They are good for speeding though.

Haha! How interesting! I never sat on your bike. Touring on these bikes must be fast enough for the wind to support your body weight.
