I just bought a new fender off ebay. I'm kinda skeptical about some of the products on there, but hopefully it will turn out alright. I'll try to post some pics and a review if it's worth anything.

Question! How in the world can all of these bike firms create these amazing engineered machines and fubar on a plastic fender. They all look like giant.... shovels? When I get that new fender in I'm gonna take the stock one, strap it to a pole and go dig some holes in my yard, jk!

Serisouly, is there some DOT restrictions on these fenders that make them look so ugly?

Alright, I got my fender eliminator yesterday. I installed it, which took no more than 20 mins to get it just right and it looks great. Total cost was$25.98. The bracket fit perfectly using the existing holes on my bike and the mount fit perfectly for my NC plate. This particular bracket only uses 2 out of the 4 mounting holes, so if you wanted you could mount your plates on the front or back set. You will need 2 10mm bolts to bolt the mount to the bike bc you won't be able to use the existing bolts on the stock fender. I actually just salvaged 2 of the other bolts from the stock fender (You'll see what I mean when you take your stock fender off).

Yeah, I used 2 of the 4 existing bolts as well. I used the two rearward holes for mounting the plate to use the tail light to illuminate the plate.
