Default vibration

I am considering buying a 650R soon. I had to sell my ducati monster 800 because there was a buzz or vibration in the bars that put my throttle hand to sleep in 15 min of riding. I tried all the usual solutions but nothing helped. My Harleys do not cause any numbness. Have any of you members had any problems with numb hands or vibrations? I love the 650R look and would like to make a wise purchase. Has the original fairing vibration been eliminated? Are there any other quirks that Ishould be aware of? Thanks Rick

I have a ducati multistrada and have the same vibration problems you have. I recently got an 07 650R and it is so much better in this area. I would ride the ducati for 30 minutes and not be able to feel my hands. I can ride the 650 for hours with no problem what so ever. As far as any other quirks, its to soon to tell for me. Hope this helps a bit.

I have had my 650r for over a year now and I have had no problem with numb hands after riding. I have some fairing vibration, but you can fix it with some double sided sticky tape in a few areas.

I also have 06 650r, can ride all day with no discomfort.
the windscreen vibe was annoying, though kawasaki issued a recall kit that your dealer will install free, it was basically just some padded tape under the windscreen. i agree with the previous post on the double sided tape, though i used a black rubber type foam that was easy to cut and place where needed. definetly no vibe on the hands though, i used that bike everyday, no back probs either, very comfy.
