Already time for its first oil and filter change. Anyone done this yet?? I need to get under the bike and find that filter
I am also looking to add those seat handles the UK/European ER-6f....
http://www.kawasaki.co.uk/product.as...E7D8BBBC&Sub=3
A nice tie down point for day bag, 2nd helmet, or when trailering the bike behind the RV. Also good grab point for the passenger
These handles can also be found on the US ER-6n...but my dealer hasn't found me a part # yet....they should just bolt on the 650R by the looks of it.

Parts like the grab rails from the 08 and earlier might not fit the 09 as the bodywork is different and there are changes to the frame, so be careful that you're looking at the right bits.
Oil change is best done with the bike on a rear stand. Remove the fairing lowers and the filter is right at the front of the motor. Dead easy. As the bike is under warranty it might be better to pay for a dealer first service as insurance in case there are any warranty issues. If you do do it yourself. make sure you keep the receipts for all parts used.
