Nevermind, the high mount exhaust threw me off. A nice looking ride.

ha, with a little money (for the tail and plastics for the r6, and metal) a welder and grinder and some know how you could walk away with a SICK looking tail, you could use any old tail, like if your friend is scrapping his higher end bike!, now, could you fab a way to fit a fatter taller gas tank to it?

I like everything but the high mount exhaust, IMO the low mount looks much better on it.

hell yeah. you can get pretty much anything to mount up if you put some time into it.

there is another guy over there with a ducati tail and i think another one with a gsxr?

you could probably fit another tank if you wanted too... dunno if it would look right though. maybe

ya i get what your saying, out plastics wouldnt mesh... per say into it because ours are more narrow, hmmm... perhaps if you get a heat source and try to 're-form' the plastics it might look sick... or just once again use another bikes side farings... who knows till you try... luckily my friend is an r6 fanatic and he is carbon fiber kevlar bi-weave molding (what a mouthful) his plastics, so maybe just maybe i can see what it would look like

I'm gonna pull a CalamariChris here and say: If you want a ZX6R, buy a ZX6R. Why spend so much time and/or money modifying a 500R? Whether for looks or for speed it doesn't make much sense. It's like buying a Dodge Neon and putting one of those rediculously huge spoiler wings and coffee can exhaust tips on it. Does that really make it cool or give it much more power? The answer is and will always will be, "NO." Sorry Chris if I'm putting words in your mouth. I can only speak for myself, but if Kawasaki hasn't felt the need to tinker with this design in over a decade, why try and improve on the tried and true? If you don't like it the way it is, why'd you buy it? Sorry; not trying to berate anybody, I just don't get it. Good luck with your expriment. I'm sure it will up the resale value...
