Zero Gravity Touring Windscreen
Anybody have one of these Zero Gravity Touring windscreens for a Ninja 500R? I would like to see some pictures or hear from someone who has one and how they like it. How good of protection does it provide compared to the stock windscreen? Would like to find a windscreen which would provide better protection than the stock one for some longer rides. If anybody knows of another company that makes one please let me know. Thanks

Welcome to the forums! I don't know about the Zero Gravity screen, but I just got a dark smoke Lockhart Phillips screen to replace my clear one. It is identical to the original screen so I would assume that protection will be no different than the stock one - it'll just look a lot better .

Got one of the larger touring windscreens from the ZGOUTLET website for only $57.00 shipped out - took about 2 weeks to get it. It is a couple inches higher and gets the airflow up off your torso to about the center of my helmet. (I'm about 5'10) Could stand being a couple inches wider and get the wind off the shoulders. It is a slight improvement over the stock screen but I would be willing to pay more for something even a little larger.

I have not tried the touring model but I have the dbl bubble and like it a lot. Big improvement from the stock wind screen, I tried the LP screen but was not happy with the fit.
As far as the wind goes for me it doesn't get to windy until I am above 85, after that I just lower my riding position.

i tested a touring screen out, kick ***. the double bubble is better then stock as far as wind deflection and the touring model is the best so it would do you right on long rides. only problem is it wasnt on a 500. if you can get it for the 500, do it. ill probley be getting me one for my bike just to have it if im going on a road trip. i have ordered a few screens from the zg outlet and kicked myself in the *** for not getting a blem for my 636. in all i bought 4 screens, blems for my friends and really, you couldnt tell where it was messed up, on one it had a small bubble in the spot the well nuts go in. youll never see it.
