RE: wrecked my 500r
welllll i already bent it back once when i got the bike cause it had been dropped. This time i looks like it isnt jus one piece bent, the whole thing is warped so i wouldd need all kinds of measurements to know what i needed to bend it too. The other thing is the fairing is in kinda rough shapep so its gonna ned s sturdy and straight bracket to hold it together so im thinking it would be worth it to buy a new bracket and save this fairingdd

Sorry, I guess I should look a lil more closely at what I post. Didn't notice that one was bent. I had to bend mine back into shape, too. Caught the doorway to my shed a few times with the mirror, then I dropped it. It's not too bad.
If you find that it seems a lil soft in any spots use a torch and some oil and google metal hardening to find the procedure to harden the soft spots. Shouldn't be too hard.
good luck.

haha i think i caught my nut on the rear brake lever.... i saw a piece of my jeans stuck to it
the bruises are still coming out and im nooooot a fan of thesedisolving stitches
haha and i wasnt wearing prtoective gear on my other nut, although if they make it i would loooove to find some for future rides :-P
once i can actually move around and start working on the bike im going to try to bend the bracket back, it just looks really twisted but your right nothing too lose, i found one for like a hundred bucks so either way....
im ordering a handle bar and soon as my stitches are out ill be back on it :-p ill just rock the dents till taxes come back
thanks for all the advice so far, ill keep you posted on how it all comes out
