Ok so this is going to be my first post, but i've been reading around for a couple months now.
Anyways, i bought a brand new 07 ex500 and after riding it around i've noticed a whistling noise coming from the gas cap. I think that means its not sealed correctly, but i couldbe wrong I'm new to motorcycles. Is it supposed to do that or should i take it back to the dealership and put my warranty to use

 

Welcome to the forums Jon500r. I wouldn't be alarmed with the gas pressure venting.
