Targa formula cowl

RE: Targa formula cowl
The face lift of '94 was facilitated by a different upper fairing mounting bracket. Since that mounts to the frame, it should be a simple matter of getting a newer bracket to mount the newer fairing onto your bike. Of course, I haven't been able to confirm this yet since the guys at my local Kawasaki shop are all but clueless when it comes to compatibility beyond their parts computer!! You can usually find the brackets fairly cheap on eBay.
Mine is a '91. I am in the process of painting it silver and black. Just for some cool contrast, I bought a blue tinted Zero Gravity windscreen for it (also off of eBay) at a decent price of $60 including shipping. Mine had some fairing damage when I bought it. A previous owner laid it down on the right side and broke the front turn sig out of the fairing. I had to fab a patch then bondo and epoxy it till sound. A new fairing will be in order down the road. When that time comes, I might also go w/the Targa. That's wicked sweet! Good luck w/your mods!!
