Hello, a few days ago I submitted an order to targa for a formula cowl for my '93 gpz500s.

Now, wile I'm waiting them to ship me the cowl, I would like to start doing some drawings in my computer to decide how I want to paint the bike.

Does any one have a photo of our bike with the targa cowl? I would thank very much if anyone could post a photo of the full bile view from the side (not like the ones in the targa's site)

the price of the cowl is 270$. I ordered it the 23th, but I haven't had any new from targa. I also have written them a mail, but without success. I don't know if they have received my order. obviously they haven't charged the money to my credit card.

I don't know what's happening. Hollidays?

Well, I have finally received an answer from targa.

They have told me that production of this fairing for my year's model has been discontinued. but They have in stock this other model: TARGA FORMULA COWL EX500 99 -06 UNPAINTED.

Does anyone know if it is suitable for my '93 EX500? do you know if it is very hard to make this cowl fit on my bike model?

forget my last question. I have just take into account that the differences are not in the body, but in the upper fairing.

If the differences are not in the body but in the upper fairing only, how is that you received an email from Targa stating they have discontinued selling the lower cowl for your model year? I have reason to believe, thus, pre 99 model cowls are bit different from the latter models. What say you?

 

yes, in fact the bike suffered a restyling in the model of 1994, when the bike got it's actual style.

my bike is this one I attach here, as you can see, the upper fairing is slightly different.
